GroPro Organics™ Lawn Care Program Guide
We offer several different residential lawn care programs. Whichever program or programs you choose they will involve some level of 100% natural and organic products. Using organic based products will improve the soil, which will lead to a stronger and healthier root system and an enhanced soil biology. A healthier root system will allow more nutrients and water to feed the plants and allow the lawn to naturally defend itself against unwanted lawn insects and diseases. Below are our services we offer for the home lawn, ranging from fertility and weed control to perimeter pest protection. You cannot over apply organic materials, so having more applications versus fewer will always improve your lawn.
Lawn Fertility Packages
We offer three unique packages from which you may choose:
Premium Lawn Care Package:
Our premium lawn care package contains six (6) applications combining organic liquid and granular fertility and weed control products applied throughout the growing season. Approximately every 4-6 weeks, starting in Mid-March/Early April, we will treat your lawn. The first two (2) treatments will contain pre-emergent weed and crabgrass control products to prevent many grassy weeds, like crab grass and broadleaf weeds, from taking root. All treatments will contain needed fertility products and nutrients your lawn needs to thrive. Then throughout the season, in between fertility treatments, we will make spot weed treatments as needed.
Superior Lawn Care Package:
Our Superior package contains nine (9) applications to include all of the above Premium package features in addition to:
Core Aeration to relieve soil compaction and reduce thatch buildup. At this time we will fertilize and use GroPro Organics? liquid Super Stimulant™ to enhance root growth that will allow deeper penetration for help in nutrient uptake and water retention. Helps make your lawn more drought resistant and less disease prone.
Lime Treatment - Based on the results of a soil analysis, pelletized lime will be added to your lawn to help balance the pH for optimal growing conditions.
Annual Soil Analysis to determine your soil's deficiencies to better customize a fertility package that tailor suits your lawn's needs.
Economy Lawn Care Package:
Our Standard package includes four (4) treatments. It is all of the treatments from the Premium package except the two (2) summer applications. This package is recommended for lawns that have had organic treatments in the past or for second/third-year clients that have an established lawn with few to no weeds.
Additional Lawn Care Services:
Over-seeding with Core Aeration - A beautiful lawn starts with having plentiful grass. We will fill in bare and thin spots and over-seed the entire lawn to blend in new, healthy, disease and drought resistant grass to your existing lawn. When done with core aeration it allows the seeds to penetrate into the soil where the nutrients and water are to increase germination rates.
Plant, bush and garden feeding - Your perennial and annual beds, bushes, and gardens all need regular feeding as well. We will use a combination of organic liquid and granular materials to supply needed nutrients and organic matter for your plants, beds, and gardens.
Perimeter Pest/Insect Control - (4) timely applications applied around the exterior perimeter of your home to include doorways, cracks, crevices, and foundation where insects gain access to the inside of your home. We will help protect your home from spiders, ants, crickets, beetles, and potato bugs, to name a few. When used four times a year it will provide year round protection to help unwanted pests from invading your home!
Grub Control - As the temperatures rise it is possible that grubs will appear. They are the larvae of various types of beetles that feed on the roots of your grass. Presence of beetles and large brown spot areas that appear on your lawn will be the first evidence. An annual grub control treatment will kill off the grubs as they begin feeding.
Deer Repellent - An all natural liquid spray applied 3-6 times a year, depending on locational factors. This natural approach will help keep deer and other smaller rodents like squirrels and rabbits from eating your vegetation.
Soil Analysis - We recommend that every lawn have a soil sample and analysis performed at least once every three years, and this is also required by the Maryland Dept. of Agriculture. This will tell us how to best manage the most efficient program for your lawn.
Lime Treatments - Based on the results of a soil analysis, pelletized lime will be added to your lawn to help balance the pH for optimal growing conditions.
